Sometimes Good is Good Enough

Just a few short years ago, a brilliant woman I know gave the order to launch a new product website because sometimes good is good enough.

Not meaning that attention to detail doesn’t matter, but that if we wait for perfect….time is wasted.  That is SOOO, much like life.  

I get it because waiting for perfect takes up a lot of time (and time is limited) and that becomes a pattern which is like doing the same thing over and over again, and isn’t that The definition of Insanity! 

Keep waiting for everything to be just right, and that’s probably never going to happen. 

 Sometimes you just have to JUMP!  Tweak as you go.  

That’s the beauty of monitoring whatever it is we are working on, whether it’s a website, our projects, our families, our hobbies, and so on.

Monitor, Assess, and Update.

I have an idea that what I want will all come together and must come together before it can launch.  And then I hear the brilliant woman saying,

Sometimes good is good enough.  

Put it out there, monitor, and assess and allow it to grow.

After all, Rome wasn’t built in a day, right?
